This job is widely considered one of the most demanding jobs on site.
You’ll be working long days, in heat, dust, mud, and tough conditions away from home on roster. If you want comfort, this isn’t it. If you want a challenge and a career, keep reading.

• Assisting the driller with safe, efficient drilling operations
   
• Manual handling of rods, tools, sample bags, core trays / core samples
   
• Cleaning, greasing, maintaining equipment and keeping the rig area tidy
   
• Loading/unloading gear and supporting rig moves / set-up and pack-down
   
• Completing pre-start checks and following site safety systems and paperwork
   
• Working as part of a crew where reliability and teamwork matter every day
   

• FIFO roles across the country
   
• Roster options may include 2/1, 2/2, 4/2
   
• Weekly pay + super (competitive for entry level)
   
• Straight guidance from people who understand drilling
   

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (no WHV for these roles)
   
• Manual C Class Licence 

• Strong fitness + resilience
   
• Safety-first attitude and the ability to work remote, challenging conditions
   
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical + Drug & Alcohol test
   

• Labour-intensive background (construction, farming, trades, military, labouring)
   
• White Card
   
• HR / HR-B licence
